HeBoLub® – Boron Nitride oil

Ultra-fine boron nitride oil dispersion high performance lubricant additive. The boron nitride oil dispersion consists of mineral base oil and fine, hexagonal boron nitride particles. Already small amounts of HeBoLub® improve the oils’ lubricating properties and reduce wear. These additives prove their positive features especially in demanding thresholds, with extreme temperatures, high friction loads and relatively low friction speeds. Among other things, HeBoLub^® forms a separating protective layer, prevents wear and tear, and ensures a significantly longer service life of plants and machines. Besides, by reducing the friction coefficient, the friction resistance can be significantly reduced, and an extreme rise in temperature can be prevented. This materials also have a stabilising effect on the coefficient of friction throughout the entire friction process. This means that extremes are smoothed and a constant lubricating effect minimises wear. What is more, HeBoLub^®-containing oils increase the load-bearing capacity. Equally, due to the high boron nitride content it scores with improved heat dissipation, high thermal conductivity and temperature resistance. The product family is particularly suitable for oxygen applications up to 900 °C and remains stable under inert gas / vacuum up to 2,000 °C. These additives are clearly superior to other solid lubricants such as PTFE (Teflon), MoS₂ or graphite, in many important application properties. Due to its witish colour compared to other black oiol additives, oils used by final customer apear cleaner and are easier to evaluate. Standard applications include heavy-duty gearboxes, engines or in the metalworking industry.
