A range of paints for self-cleaning and air purification. The application of these paints offers a combination of aesthetic and protective solutions, forming a clear and durable mineral film of approximately 40 nanometres thick. This paint not only provides durability and protection, but also contributes to surface cleanliness. It works on the principle of photocatalysis, a natural process that uses sunlight to decontaminate the environment. When sunlight strikes painted surfaces, it triggers an oxidation process that removes common contaminants, purifying both the painted surfaces and the surrounding air. It acts on any type of surface to improve air quality. This economical paint eliminates the usual pollutants in the atmosphere such as NOx (nitrogen oxide, vehicle combustion), SOx (sulphur oxide, coal combustion), VOCs (volatile organic compounds), etc. The main aspects of the material are its self-cleaning capacity, its antibacterial action, the elimination of odours and fungi and the purification of the air. The paint can be applied in two ways: by spraying on any type of surface without the need to cover the environment. This fast process can disinfect up to 100m² in one hour, with an effective duration of one year. It can also be applied by roller, brush or spray, followed by a second sprayed coat once the first coat is dry. This method provides total disinfection and asepsis for three years, with a total duration of effectiveness of five years. This paint is notable for its wide range of use on both interior and exterior surfaces.
