A breakthrough silicone composite technology that allows the base material to be applied on textiles and many other consumer product surfaces with unlimited design flexibility and different decorative effects via digital printing and heat transfer for durable aesthetics. The patented surface-modifying technique solves the surface inertia challenge of silicone through chemically bonding it with the polyurethane-based modified layer. It offers user-friendly and skin-friendly material while preserving the inherent anti-slip, elastic, water-repellent, biocompatible, and easy cleaning properties for long-lasting performance. These products contain 60% – 66% polydimethylsiloxane (silicone, PDMS), 33% – 39% thermo-polyurethane (TPU), and 1% polyurethane (PU) and are manufactured by a solvent-free roll-to-roll calendering process. The stable silicone surface offers nice texture and excellent heat-resistance that can maintain the grating effect and won’t degrade, crack, or become sticky after frequent washing or sun drying. Unlike screen printing, it can perfectly present extremely detailed design with no more size limitations via roll-to-roll printing. The roll products can be die-cut to designed shape after digital/screen printing, and heat-pressed on the desired garment with MOQ of 1300 mm (51.2 in) x 50 m (164 ft) per roll. The material is shipped by pieces or slitted rolls with a thickness of 0.23 or 0.28 mm (9.1 or 11 mil) ± 0.03 mm (1.2 mil). It is possible to customize design patterns, matte colors (non-toxic, non-irritating) with a smooth texture and various functionalities (antimicrobial). Applications are for fashion, playmats, laptop covers, and wallpaper.
